Get your nominations in well before this time to ensure you don’t risk missing out.
All candidates and agents are required to attend. Failure to attend could lead you to be disqualified from the election or referendum.
This is the day when candidates, campaign agents and their teams can formally begin campaigning to convince students to vote in particular ways.
Voting is anonymous and independently overseen by Peter Robertson from NUS, appointed by the Trustee Board.
Voting will be open from 09:00Â until 17:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday it will be open from 09:00 until 15:00.
All students who haven’t opted out of membership of the Students’ Union can vote in both the election of the Student Executive and Referendum.
Effectively this is Question Time! Hear directly from the candidates and campaign agents on the reasons they think you should vote for them and their campaign.
All current AUB students are eligible to attend and ask questions.
Polling closes at 15:00 on the dot. Any votes not completed by this point will not be verified.
The Count will begin once the Returning Officer is happy that all votes are verified.
The results will be announced live on www.aubsu.org.uk. Tune in for all of the decisions.
